Alice Chuang (she/her, they/them) is the Head of Design at The Penumbra Podcast, working on branding, digital media, marketing, photography, and anything that touches visual aesthetics. She loves nothing more than building (aesthetically-pleasing) things that people use.
Early Life[]
Alice met Noah Simes and Kate Jones in high school theater, and met Harley Takagi Kaner and Joshua Ilon in college theater. She attended Mount Holyoke College and graduated with a BA in English and a BA in film. She has previously worked for Google as a senior UX design consultant and Wellframe as a product design lead.[1]
Career[]
Alice is a lifelong designer, and currently works as a product designer at Facebook for Facebook Messenger.
Currently, she is also a product designer at Facebook, working on Messenger. Alice has designed mobile and web experiences for a number of tech companies, ranging from early-stage startups to LinkedIn and Google.
