Anjimile, born Anjimile Chithambo, is a guitarist and singer songwriter.[1] They voice the character M'tendere in the Juno Steel series, as well as writing and performing the song "Any Day Now," featured in Juno Steel and the Tools of Rust (Part 2) as the Key to a lockbox designed by the character. In Tales of the Second Citadel, Anjimile plays the role of Ale.

Anjimile is queer and trans, and uses they/them and he/him pronouns.[1]

Early Life[]

Anjimile grew up in the suburbs of Dallas. They began to play guitar when they were about 10 years old, and started to write songs when they were 18.[1]

Career[]

Anjimile studied music Northeastern University. Anjimile has self-released multiple albums on Bandcamp, including "In the Garden," "Human Nature" (2015),[2] "Good Boy" (2016,) "Colors" (2018),[3] and Maker Mixtape (2019).[4] Their song "1978" was selected by WBUR's panel of judges and won them a slot at WERS' inaugural Wicked Good Festival in August 2018.[3] In 2019 they were nominated for Folk Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards.[5] In 2020 Anjimile signed to Father/Daughter Records and announced their upcoming album, Giver Taker.[6]
