Arcana Lately, also known as Miss Germane, is a retired space criminal raising her three boys. Supposedly, she used to be a legendary space pirate, but that was so long ago no one remembers her.
Early Life[]
Arcana Lately was a legendary space pirate for many years, and fought in Belphegor's Battle forty-five years ago. She had three children, and raised them to be space criminals as well. However, they were not as skilled as her, and she had to break them out of jail repeatedly. At some point had an unnamed friend who did time at Aurinko Permanent Corrections.
When she heard rumors about Dark Matters' upcoming new policy on space crime, she knew her children would not be able to get away as easily as she would. She decided to help them get enough money to retire before the policy came into affect, and this lead her to scamming Mick Mercury.
History[]
She introduces herself to Mick as Miss Germane, his personal assistant sent by his publisher. She also introduces him to his new valet, gardener and cook which are secretely her children Marty, Sammy and Ricky.
When Juno comes to visit Mick, she tries to send him away. Eventually Juno outs her and her family as space pirates to Mick, who decides he doesn't care. She continues to work as Mick's personal assistant and take his money.
She advises Juno on his jailbreak of Aurinko Permanent Corrections, as she had a friend who did time there, and acts as their getaway driver with the Ruby Seven.

Proud, professional, emotionally distant. Shows her care through her actions, but often speaks harshly to her children.
