The Cerberus Province is an accumulation of settlements in the Martian desert that serves as a hideout for outlaws. It seems to be located in a ring of volcanoes. A lighthouse that turns on during the night prevents ships from landing inside the volcanoes.
Since it does not have a dome, the Cerberus Province is, for some, "more meeting place than city – a non-stop crime convention to trade business cards and thermonuclear weaponry." as Juno describes "the biggest hideout of thieves and murderers and outlaws in the solar system" in Juno Steel and the Time Gone By (Part 1).
Despite those myths about it, the Cerberus Province is also home to some unlucky people who have no other choice but to live there. It's inhabitants come from all over the Galaxy, including the Outer Rim- it has large communities from Balder, Yama, and Susano-o, who fled there following The War. Many different languages are spoken in these communities, and it is not abnormal to hear shopkeepers shouting in alien languages.

- The Lighthouse, "an intricate crossing of plates and pipes that looked like somebody had spun a spiderweb from gold, then grabbed its center and pulled it up to scratch the clouds".
- Buddy Aurinko's Bar (in the first floor of the infamous light house), a famous meeting point for outlaws.
- Cerberus Board of Fresh Starts, a clinical institution selling Blood Filtration Bracelets to inhabitants who are suffering from severe radiation poisoning, forcing them to take uncontrollable debts just to stay alive.
