Rasbach is a villain in the Juno Steel series. He works as an aquisitional agent for the Board of Fresh Starts, which forced Vespa Ilkay into servitude for medical debt after she suffered significant radiation poisoning.

Rasbach is from Balder, an Outer Rim planet.
History[]
Rasbach attempts to purchase the a case of Curemother from Buddy Aurinko while Jet Sikuliaq and Juno Steel stand by as backup. The sale is interrupted by Vespa Ilkay, who stabs Rasbach and unsuccessfully attempts to steal the Curemother in the aftermath. Having observed that Buddy recognizs Vespa, Rasbach blackmails and extorts Buddy into agreeing to buy out Vespa's contract of indenture, taking every cred she has, as well as her ship. Vespa attacks again during this second sale, this time succesfully; Buddy bitterly observes that she can not regain her money and ship without Rasbach's consent, but chooses not to kill him, saying he is not powerful enough to save a single soul with his death.
Personality[]
Rasbach appears to be very suspicious of others and untrustworthy himself. He loves his family, at least to the extent of accruing wealth on their behalf. Rasbach speaks with an accent consistent with one of the many languages spoken in the Outer Rim.

- In the episode commentary for Juno Steel and the Time Gone By, lead writer Kevin Vibert revealed that Rasbach's speech pattern was heavily based on that of his French-speaking family members.
