Episode Summary[]
Lam, Caroline and Olala meet at the center of the universe, an unstable magical place where the weather shifts completely every 30 minutes in the order East, North, West, South. Caroline wants to storm the Undersea Palace immediately, but Lam talks her down. They meet up with Ale, Angelo, Talfryn, Marc, Damien, Rilla and Lord Arum. Greetings are had and introductions are made. Caroline is upset at the fact that Quanyii isn't there, and the group hems and haws on explaining why until Angelo tells her that Quanyii doesn't want to see her out of shame for what she did. Caroline finds this ridiculous, and just wants to see her wife.
In the distance, they see the approaching Second Citadel army, and the approaching Monster army. Lam explains that their goal is to get them to work together. Lord Arum in particular is distrustful of Lam and his plan due to his reputation as a knight, but agrees anyway. The group splits up to convince each side. On the Citadel side, Sir Absolon is planning to attack the Off-Worlders with trebuchets. This is what make Queen Mira come to the conclusion that he is a complete buffoon and has been this whole time.
She attempts to dismiss him from his post, but he resists. Then, Caroline, Lam, Damien, Talfryn, Marc and Olala interrupt and Marc punches Absolon in the face. When Absolon tries to fanboy about Lamorak, he also punches Absolon in the face. They tell the Queen that they can have allies for her as long as she accepts them without question. Olala shows herself and introduces herself as half human, half monster. The Queen agrees to work with them, and Caroline brings the Queen to meet their contact. Olala and Lam have a conversation where he explains that she is the hope of humans and monsters and that she will be able to convince everyone to work together.
They bring the Queen to meet Arum to soften her up to the idea of monsters, before bringing her before The Monster Senate. Senator Snoutt and Senator Gunkler are very against the idea of working with humans, and Snoutt starts having a spat with Arum before Olala interrupts. She introduces herself once again as half human, half monster, and tries to convince the Senators to work together with the humans, but they don't believe her. Quanyii's magical noise appears, giving terrible visions of first Silvershore destroyed, and then the Senators' homes destroyed in a potential vision of hte future. This convinces all the Senators except Snoutt, who fires a crossbow bolt at the Queen which is intercepted by Lord Arum. Absolon appears and tries to attack the Senate, but Caroline puts him down. At these actions, the Senate agrees to work together. In the distance, the army of the Off-Worlders appears and begins their attack. At the end of the episode, Absolon is aghast at the idea of the Citadel working together with Monsters and swears revenge.

Quotes[]
OLALA: But it’s not just for me. It’s for the whole Universe. LAMORAK: Yeah, but not the Universe we have now. It’s for the kind of Universe you could have a home in. You make people believe in that Universe. You make them want to make it real. And if you could do that for all of us, you can do it for the Queen and for the monster Senators. I know you can.
MIRA: I am. It is a pleasure to meet you, Mister...? LORD ARUM: I wish I could say the same. But in the interests of a polite back-and-forth I can say, at least... Uh.
You have excellent taste in handkerchiefs, takatakataka.
SENATOR GUNKLER: This is an outrage, Arum! You can’t seriously expect us to ally ourselves with the very army we are here to destroy! LORD ARUM: As I’ve explained to you once already, Gunkler, there is a far more dangerous force present that deserves the monsters’ attention. We are under existential threat — a fact which Senator Snoutt’s spies in the Citadel were certainly aware of.
OLALA: That is your proof, Senators. Even if you don’t believe in Silvershore, you know in your hearts that this is what your homes will become — it’s what all the Universe is going to become if we don’t do something about it together. SENATOR A BIG GROSS PILE OF MOSS: The end of the world. The end of all things.
Perhaps... we should consider this young creature’s words.
