Slip Jackson was a drug dealer and user[2]who grew up on the streets of Brahma among a group of street children alongside Peter Nureyev. He was Nureyev's first boyfriend.
He is introduced via Nureyev's narration of the notebook that he gave Juno before Buddy Aurinko and Vespa Ilkay's wedding.[3]
Early Life[]
Slip grew up on the streets of Brahma. He would often cause trouble playing pranks where he shouldn't.[2]
History[]
After Nureyev killed Mag, he was a vagrant for a while before ending up in Slip's basement. Slip didn't know how to approach him for a while but eventually brought him a sandwich and some water, though he ate half the sandwich on the way over because he was nervous. Slip and Nureyev live together for a while, with Slip as the breadwinner selling hallucinogenic drugs. Eventually Slip steals two tickets to Saraswati for the both of them.
in Saraswati, Slip aims to get information on how to create a certain drug from The Dokana Group. He ends up in a game of Rangian Street Poker with them, that Nureyev snuck himself into as well. This game lasts several hours, and results in Slip giving up Nureyevs name as "Arthur Dodger" and also getting the formula he needed. The two plan to leave Saraswati soon after.
Personality[]
Laid back, but competent. Generally very confident and sure of himself, except when around Nureyev.
Abilities[]
An incredibly skilled chemist, able to invent new strains of hallucinogenic substances. Also very good at Rangian Street Poker due to his lack of a personal history.
Relationships[]
Peter Nureyev[]
Slip and Nureyev were young lovers that deeply cared for each other. They both did stupid things for each other.
Eventually it is Slip who convinces Peter to let him go.

Trivia[]
- It is implied that Slip is the one who taught Nureyev how to play Rangian Street Poker.[4]
- Slip Jackson was originally a character named Kay who appeared in some early drafts of Angel of Brahma as Nureyev's love interest.[5]
- Slip's scene in Juno Steel and the Sixteen Tons (Part 2) is the only time he appears in a flashback instead of a journal entry- this is the only time in season 5 where we lose Juno's perspective.
