The Hand, also known as The Emissary, is an representative of The Off-Worlders who helps the heads of the organisation take over Universes.

Early Life

The Hand has previously helped the Off-Worlders consume three other smaller Universes, and is clearly very highly ranked in their military.

History

He meets with Sir Galahad, who is under the impression that he was going to be meeting with the great leaders themselves. The Hand laughs this off, saying that they are far too busy. Though he arrived at this meeting specifically to kill Galahad, he still spends time talking with him and gloating about his accomplishments. When he brandishes his gun at Galahad, he doesn't even know to be afraid of it. He kills Galahad almost casually, and leaves just as Sir Marc arrives to the scene.

He then makes his way to The Second Citadel, and meets with Captain Absolon and Queen Mira in order to size up their military power. Absolon lets him have very free reign to investigate, which Mira is apprehensive of. As he leaves, Absolon tries to butter him up, saying they will throw a feast in his honor, but he casually turns it down and leaves. He walks past Marc and Ale as he goes, who are in the process of stealing Saint Aaron's hammer. He does not care enough to even remark upon them. Soon after he leaves, the building starts imploding, presumably due to explosives he set. As Marc helps finish the job with Saint Aarons hammer, he radios to his superiors and tells them the largest military power on the plateau has been defeated, and reveals that their next target will be The Center of the Universe.

He is part of the attack on the Center of the Universe, presumably leading it to a degree. When Absolon comes to him to join the Off-Worlders, he interrogates him for information. Absolon tells him about the Saints' Relics, and leads him and a squadron of soldiers to the Undersea Palace. He catches Sir Lamorak, Caroline and Olala trying to escape, but they have hidden the Saints' Weapons from him. Lamorak convinces him to show off what his weapons can do, and he orders his men to untie Absolon and gives him five seconds to run before he shoots him dead. By the time he is finished with that, Lam has summoned Reaper Kestrel.

He manages to escape what he calls the "bird-monster", and catches up to Caroline and Olala. He shoots her and holds a gun to her head, demanding Olala hand over the spear and the hammer. She refuses, and he attempts to shoot Caroline but Quanyii makes him miss. He shoots Quanyii and Caroline many times before Caroline kills him, and they both die from the wounds he gives them.

Personality

Calm, condescending, incredibly sadistic. Doesn't see the humans or monster on the Universe as people, and is perfectly fine with killing all of them.

Proficient with firearms, seems to like a challenge. Capable of commanding troops

Clearly looks down on him and enjoys being able to kill him.
