The Weirdo Brigade is Ale's nickname for the traveling party formed to protect Olala and pursue the Golden Age Knights, particularly Sir Galahad.

Ale of Milltown is a swordsman. His membership is primarily motivated by his desire for a rematch with Galahad.
Angelo[]
Angelo the Strong is a freelance knight. He feels he cannot pursue his personal ideals as a knight within the confines of his old worldview, and has chosen to pursue a path more beautiful and complex.
Caroline[]
Caroline is a freelance knight. She is sick of playing by Queen Mira's rules, and finds the Citadel's current approach to monsters, magic users, and the transgressions of former knights intolerable.
Gawain[]
Gawain is a dog. He is coming because he's a good boy.
Olala[]
Olala is the shapeshifting legacy of The Garden of Graves and its nuns. She bears powerful magic, and is considered half-human and half-monster. Her inclusion in the party is to give her stable guardianship, and hopefully safety.
Quanyii[]
Quanyii is a witch. He can be assumed to have joined the party both because the Citadel's renewed emphasis against magic-using humans affects her directly, and because he is Caroline's wife.
History[]
The Weirdo Brigade forms and departs in Second Citadel - Judgment of the Empire (Part 2). They take two horses when they leave, one of which was stolen from Sir Absolon.
