—Turbo
Turbo was the titular character in the "Turbo Saves the Day" cartoon, created by Northstar Entertainment. The series was created in part by Sarah Steel and Jack Takano, and was frequently criticized for its overly simple morals and formulaic writing.
During Juno's flashback hallucinations, the man who stole Sarah's character ideas, Jack Takano, appeared as Turbo due to telling Juno to tell his mother that the cartoon character had been the one to break in.
History[]
"Turbo Saves The Day" was largely Jack Takano's project. The founder of Northstar handed him control of the property as a reward for all the work he had done since joining the company. He'd had no experience or portfolio, but he did good work as a manager and editor and anything else that needed doing. But despite his skills in managing and working well with Sarah Steel, one of the best writers the company had, under his leadership the show suffered in quality.
